Universal Burger Co is a funky little venue serving up burgers from around the world, such as the ‘Kingston Burger’, ‘Sydney Burger’, ‘New York Burger’ and more! They have two venues one in Auburn and the other in Merrylands. A great place to grab a feed before seeing a movie at the Reading Cinema.
We had to of course try the ‘Universal Burger’ which is their biggest burger and comes with 2 grass fed beef patties, cheese sauce, grilled onion, pickles, tomato, BBQ & their special burger sauce. This one was definitely a mouthful… Loved the beef patties which were cooked perfectly and the special sauce had an interesting flavour which was surprising. Definitely a good option for anyone who’s feeling hungry. For those smaller eaters like myself I recommend the ‘Dubai Burger’.
The ‘Dubai Burger’ is packed full of pickled goodness from the cucumbers & turnips, red onions, tomatoes, lettuce & a spicy saffron Mayo with a grilled chicken patty. This had to be my favourite, it was so different and the pickles inside were delicious!! For any of you pickle lovers this one is a must order, beautiful flavours and that mayo is incredible!! The Chicken Patty actually had a lovely spice to it as well and didn’t make me feel sick as the chicken was grilled not deep fried which e are used to seeing.
The combo’s come with fries and a drink of your choice. I loved how seasoned the fries were, you wont be needing to ask for any extra salt with these babies!
Overall, I loved Universal Burger! Their burgers are not what you would find anywhere else. You are guaranteed a unique burger with delicious combinations! I noticed the Kingston on their menu and it looked delicious with grilled pineapple! The milkshakes and frappes are definitely worth checking out too, I liked the Tropical crush and the banana milkshake was sweet but went nicely with the burgers and wasn’t too over the top! Definitely a pleasant venue to dine at, there is something for everyone here so for any fussy kids they’ll be sure to find something they want to eat here!
